The Empowered Life Programme is a series of youth workshops and 1:1 mentoring focused on mental health, life skills, financial literacy and employability for young people living in Luton. The programme is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, enabling us to deliver this vital support.

About the Programme
The Empowered Life Programme will deliver short, interactive in-person workshops alongside 1:1 mentoring for young people aged 13–25.
We aim to equip young people with life skills, emotional management techniques, financial literacy, and mental health awareness, helping them feel empowered, confident and prepared for the future.
The Empowered Life Programme helps young people reach their potential by providing support in these key areas, supporting positive long-term outcomes.
Shaped by young people
Young people have helped to shape this programme to ensure it is relevant to the challenges they are facing. We have held focus groups in which young people have told us that mental health, financial literacy, employment worries and self-esteem are pressing issues.
We are therefore addressing these areas in this programme and will continue to co-design sessions with local young people to deliver useful and engaging workshops.
Who is the programme for?
These workshops are for young people living in Luton, aged between 13-25, who are looking to improve their mental health, develop life skills and financial literacy.

This workshop is delivered in a community space, at Youthscape, Bute Mills in Luton.
